ΑΡΓΟΣ - The Courthouse Square

Ornamented by an ancient fountain in its centre, and close to the city’s Archaeological Museum, one finds the recently renovated Courthouse Square. Its name comes from the presence here of the local magistrates court, whose bench and protoklito courthouse date back to 1829. This square is a good place to visit as it is the ideal starting point for a walk around the nearby interesting monuments of the city, both ancient and modern.
